Ready or not, here I come
14 Mar
Because last season didn’t ended up really well, this one started a bit earlier, recovering after my broken metacarp. So the hard work hopefully will pay of.
I am also happy to announce my partners for this season:
Imprezzio Global and Cannondale Bicycles will be the title sponsors. I also have the support from the Romanian Cannondale distributor, Extreme Riders. I will use also Ashima (lightweight high end aftermarket disc rotors and other bits), Tune (hubs, seatpost, saddles, qr), Sram (complete 1×11 drivetrain and disc brakes), Sapim (spokes, nipples and wheelbags), Adidas Eyewear (premium eyewear), Xpedo (high end racing pedals), Grip Grab (premium gloves, socks and other accessories), Maratonic (suplements, dealer for Maratonic, Peeroton and Born), Ryde (high end rims), Cratoni (premium helmets), Kool-Stop (premium brake pads), Trucker Co.
I look forward to have good results this season. Also my goal is to race a few European World Cup races, but also at the World Championships (if everything will go well).
Also I hope to make a good advertise to my charity project and to raise as much as possible for those who are in need. For this I will try something new and try my best.
For this I’ve made the 4th pink Cannondale, called so far #Project4, but who will get a proper name!
Radu Salcudean took some professional photos in the studio but all the great features of the new bike will be seen on the trails. The F29er is still a great bike, but the F-Si is from another dimension. It can not be compared to any other 29er hardtail. The handling is amazing this I can tell you for sure. More you will find out soon in a proper review. The 1×11 drivetrain is something completely different from 1×10 and it feels really good. The the Ai (asymmetric) drivetrain and Hollowgram crankset stiffens the bike and everything with the 9mm standard qr which is a good thing, removing a wheel with X12 taking more time during a race (hopefully it won’t be needed).
More photos with the new bike right HERE.
Many thanks guys for all the nice words, encouragements and the whole support so far and from now on.
Cheers,
Vlad
